From the Irish cliffs to the east coasts of America, Kennedy is a name to be remembered through the centuries, and not as a duty, nore a civil obedience's chore. The name,
Kennedy, we'll keep in our hearts because it's deeply rooted in our common will, will for a better world, a new existence made for women and men of heart.
Because, being a member of this clan was not merely being one of those children, whose despotic mother wanted to breed as the best of a generation but because, being a Kennedy,
it will always mean belong to a family, a family with many brothers and sisters, where food will never be a problem for anyone of the brotherhood. Not because of a father earning cases of
bucks but because of parents having taught their family the values, they received from the Leprechaun, the antic guardians of the irish lands, centuries ago.
It is a fact for an Irish man, that loving women, drinking beer and having fun is part of life when not the sense of life itself and it is a big difference, still nowadays, (
go and visit Belfast) between the folks of Eire and their cousins from the great pict and saxon island: there's more than an iron curtain.
It's is a fact that for Irish man, the most important thing in life is to love, whatever happens, whatever threats auster faces claim.
Ted, was a man, before being a son and a father. You'll find some disgusting creatures to play their dirty anthems about virtue and man's duty. The first duty of a man is
loving other people with curiosity and patience and never accept those rules which could turn us to beasts and push us to act as uncivil rulers daily do.
Ted chose to become a senator, and like an ancient Roman, he wore the toga with dignity and equity, always in search of Truth and Justice. It's not easy. Today, and fifty years before, it's
never been easy to be a man and to fight for what we consider as the values that the entire Humanity revers, any place, any time on each and every square meter of the blue planet, we, little
creatures, share.
Guts, he had for his two brothers were assasinated by morons because of their fight against wars in Cuba, in Vietnam and in United States where rotten minds tried and perpetue
the Greys' desire of a segrated society, not only between blacks and whites but furthermore between richs and poors, owners and immigrants.
Long is the road, and miles, Ted has walked many, bringing hope to millions of families, lending a hand to many human beings, acid tongues would have wanted to keep in
their misery. But he was a man, and always he considered his duty to help and protect those who didn't have the chance to be who he was.
Certainly, he had one highest quality of the Lord and his son, not because he went to Church or read his holy book every day, but because in the eyes and through the smile of Ted, we all
knew that life was a beautiful thing to be. And no man on earth could make it become hell for any of our sisters and brothers.
So now, Ted has gone forward on the path towards the green land of our ancestors, we join our hands once more and thank the almighty . And Jack and Bob and Martin, and
even the good Abraham himself open the gates of the garden where we'll meet again. Once we've accomplished his will.
